This course in the Structured Sinamay Bow is a fun one! You will learn a very special technique of stretching your fabric and connecting and manipulating the fabric to create wonderful designs. Your shape can then be used as a stand alone piece, or can be used to trim a flat pattern or blocked piece. I recommend doing this piece using two different colours.

What you will need:

• Sinamay (at least a metre, preferably two colours)
• Needle and Thread
• A scissors
• An iron
• Cotton Covered Millinery Wire (not essential. Only needed if you want the twisted swirl effect of the navy and turquoise piece)
• A Band (a thin metal one is preferable)
• A sewing machine is not required but it will speed up the process of attaching connecting your two strips, but it is possible to hand sew this also.
